The “Close” button behavior has been changed

Following multiple users requests, the functionality of “close” button has been changed from “Lock all” to “Minimize” starting from n-Pass version #503. Previous versions would close an application when users click on the X (“Close”) button in the upper right corner of the window. It could cause some inconvenience. From now on – the application will hide to tray, but will remain active.

Additional functionality for remote connection

Starting from version #504, n-Pass Pro allows running of scripts in VPN connection. Scripts can be added in advanced settings of VPN connection record. Both connect and disconnect scripts are available. This option provides an additional functionality layer to the n-Pass Pro. Network administrators and IT professionals will like it a lot.

n-Logon supports Vista

n-Tegrity biometric devices can be used now for fingerprint logon to MS Windows Vista. It will offer another layer of security and convenience to computer operation. Users do not have to remember their passwords; they are replaced by the biometric authentication. This option allows an utilization of extremely long and complex passwords. Even though the solution increases security and network administrators can save lots of time that used to be lost for passwords reset or recovery. Previous versions of n-Logon and n-Pass software offered this protection to Windows 2000, Windows XP. Starting from version 500, n-Pass also supports Windows Vista, which opens wide market opportunities.

Multiple records for same URL

From the version 498 n-Pass allows an automatic creation and operation of multiple records for the same URL. This option has been added in response to multiple inquiries of n-Pass users. This feature will be appreciated mostly by those users who moderate multiple accounts in Google. It is common to have more than one Gmail account. Recently, before this option was added, only a default account would be filled in automatically.  From now on users will be able to select a record that they wish to be filled in. You can duplicate the record manually in the work pane or fill out forms in the browser and n-Pass will prompt you if you wish to store an alternative record. This option will make your operation easier and more convenient.
