Rest-Back - Backup/Restore utility

We highly recommend you back-up your information and keep the backup    file on a remote server, e-mail or other secure storage.

If you operate n-Pass4PC you might need to transfer your data to another computer or to prevent data loss by making a backup copy. This procedure is quite simple. Just download this tool and run it. The created file will be encrypted, so it is safe to keep it anywhere you want. Please do not forget the password you entered during this operation. We will not be able to help you to restore your information if you forget it. Please notice that this tool is suitable for the n-Pass4PC version, the one that is installed on your laptop or your personal computer.

For those who use the n-Pass2Go version the backup utility is unnecessary. n-Pass2Go users will simply need to copy the file nPass.dat away from the folder containing the n-Pass.exe on your removable media. This file is encrypted by default; you do not need to worry that someone can access your data. Simply store it anywhere you like, - send it to your email account or keep it on a CD. When you need to restore your data you can simply copy this file to the corresponding folder on your new removable media.
